Esperança is an international health organization working to improve the well-being of children and their families through public health programming and volunteer surgical missions. Since our formation in 1970, we have provided services in 14 countries, on four continents. Our current projects are in Bolivia, Nicaragua, Mozambique, and Arizona. 27,500 children die daily from illnesses Esperança can prevent. With a few simple tools we are making a lasting improvement in the health of women and children internationally.
