Girl Scout Council of Northwest Georgia

Organized in 1921, the Girl Scout Council of Northwest Georgia is dedicated to helping girls develop to their fullest potential and self value. Girl Scouts aims to help girls relate to others, develop values to give meaning and direction to their lives and to contribute to the betterment of society through individual and troop service. The Girl Scout Program is implemented by girls, with direction and guidance by leaders, in an age-appropriate troop or group setting. The council serves more than 45,000 girls and adult volunteers in a 20-county area. The Girl Scout Council of Northwest Georgia, Inc., is the seventh largest of 313 councils nationwide.
