Founded in 1975, Goodwill of Southern Nevada provides training, employment and job placement services for people with disabilities and other special needs to maximize the quality of life of each individual served. The purpose of Goodwill of Southern Nevada is to enable our citizens with disabilities to start new careers and lives of independence. The sale of donated “gently used” merchandise in Goodwill’s retail stores supports the required job training and job placement services for our citizens with disabilities. We work to offer people with disabilities or other disadvantages the opportunity to gain work experience and skills in the best possible place – on the job.
