Health Research Association (HRA), the centralized research arm of the Los Angeles County and University of Southern California (USC) Medical Center, including six hospitals affiliated with USC, is a cutting edge clinical trials management office. More than 80% of the research conducted by HRA is sponsored by private industry, with nearly 200 pharmaceutical company supported studies contracted annually. Virtually every medical specialty is represented at this sprawling urban center.
