Home For Life was organized to establish a network of sanctuaries across the country for the lifetime care and sheltering of dogs and cats who, while still able to lead a quality life, are unable to find homes due to old age, chronic illness, handicaps, temperament issues or other factors. Individual Home For Life sanctuaries promote maximum human contact and quality of life for each resident animal. The Home For Life model stands as a paradigm for the lifetime care of special needs dogs and cats, and for the humane treatment of animals and all living things. We provide a healthy, clean environment suitable to our residents’ behavioral and social needs. The sanctuary currently cares for about 55 dogs and 145 cats, plus 25 cats who are positive for feline leukemia.
