Founded in 1999 by Danita Estrella, Hope for Haiti Children’s Center is a Christian ministry that gives life and hope to the abandoned, forgotten and homeless children in Ouanaminthe, Haiti. Located in the remote northeast section of this impoverished nation, Hope for Haiti Children’s Center prevents the local children from being destitute by giving them food, clothing and hope that only comes from the knowledge and love of Jesus Christ. Hope for Haiti Children’s Center now provides the following services to the children: quality education for 488 children daily; a loving home for orphans from the surrounding village; and a medical clinic. Hope for Haiti Children’s Center also provides more than 16,134 meals each month and books and uniforms for the children.
