Humane Society for Companion Animals

In 2003, the Humane Society for Companion Animals (HSCA) commemorated its 125th Anniversary of protecting, caring and serving the animals and our community. HSCA cares for nearly 9,000 animals each year between our two shelters in St. Paul and Woodbury. HSCA is committed to providing humane care and shelter for all animals that come to our doors. On any given day, 200 to 400 animals are available for adoption between our two locations. Spaying and neutering our companion animals is an important step towards addressing the over-population problem. HSCA participates in a variety of programs that sterilize and promote the sterilization of our companion animals.
