Humane Society of Greater Dayton

The Humane Society of Greater Dayton works in and around Dayton, Ohio to ensure proper treatment for all animals. We work with all kinds of animals, but we primarily see cats and dogs. Our primary mission at the Humane Society is to reduce the number of unwanted animals. We work to place all of the animals that come into our care with loving homes, but we consider community education to be the key to reducing their numbers. It’s our job to present objective information whenever possible. This includes information about spaying/neutering, how to choose a pet that fits with your lifestyle, how to properly care for your pets, and how to cope with a new arrival.
