Humane Society of the Treasure Coast, Inc.

Founded in 1955, the principle mission of the Humane Society of the Treasure Coast, Inc. (HSTC) is to protect and shelter homeless, abandoned, neglected and abused companion animals on the Treasure Coast. The work of the HSTC is to: create a community humane ethic and understanding where animals are protected and cared for; stem the tide of abused, neglected, homeless and abandoned animals coming into the shelter; provide humane care for all animals coming into and while in the shelter, regardless of health, temperament or other condition; work toward decreasing pet overpopulation through spay/neuter and education programs; expand the number of homes for adoptable animals; and to celebrate the bond between people and companion animals.
