The Humane Society of the Willamette Valley (HSWV) in Salem, Oregon, is an independent, private organization that has been serving more than 400,000 lost, neglected, and homeless animals in the Mid-Willamette Valley since 1965. Our 21,000-square foot shelter provides more kennel space for homeless animals, offers isolation areas for the sick and injured, and furnishes a training facility for obedience classes. Additional HSWV services include educational programs, cruelty investigations, resource services and much more.
