The Humane Society of Utah is dedicated to the elimination of fear, pain, and suffering in all animals. People relinquish their pets for many reasons; other animals become accidentally separated from their owners or abandoned, and are brought to the Humane Society as strays. On any given day, we accept as many as 50 of these dogs, cats, small mammals, reptiles, and birds. The Society also does its best to make sure that its animals are adopted only to responsible caring homes.
