Founded by Joni Eareckson Tada in 1979, Joni and Friends is dedicated to extending the love and message of Christ to people who are affected by disability, whether it is the disabled person, a family member, or friend. Our outreach programs have a three-fold purpose: to provide hope and encouragement through Jesus Christ to those affected by a disability; to raise disability awareness in the church and community; and to train Christians in disability ministry, equipping them to meet the practical and spiritual needs of the disabled. We are committed to making Christ’s gospel accessible to all.
