Kansas Foodbank

The Kansas Foodbank (KFB), which incorporated in 1983 and began operations in 1984, collects and distributes food for those in need in 86 Kansas counties. We put food on the table for over 32,600 Kansans every week through over 400 community and faith-based pantry organizations who deliver food directly into the hands of food-insecure families. KFB is the only organization doing the work we do in the 73,000 square miles of our service area. KFB rescues millions of pounds of food disposed of annually by the food industry through our affiliation with America’s Second Harvest – the Nation’s Food Bank Network. During our 20-year history, we have brought over 65 million pounds of food in one door and out the other of our distribution facility in Wichita.
