The KOCE-TV Foundation supports KOCE-TV’s efforts to become the community’s pre-eminent portal to education, information and culture. KOCE produces “Real Orange,” the only television news and information series for and about Orange County. More than four million people in Los Angeles County, Orange County and the Coachella Valley watch KOCE on a regular basis. KOCE provides K-12 teachers with guides and training–helping them to transform television programming into an effective classroom tool. Working in conjunction with the Coastline Community College, KOCE annually broadcasts more than 15,000 hours of telecourse programs offering opportunities to earn college credits at home.
