Since 1953 Kokomo Rescue Mission (KRM) a non-denominational Christian social service agency, has provided a Christ-centered response to the problems of poverty and homelessness in North Central Indiana. Kokomo Rescue Mission’s purpose is to minister the love of Jesus Christ to the whole person through rescue ministries. KRM’s dining room is open to the public, serving free meals twice daily. A hot breakfast is also served for all shelter guests. Grocery boxes are available for families unable to come to the mission to eat. 3,682 people were helped in 2004.
