Lake Area United Way brings together the resources of our community to assist people in helping themselves and one another. Our four fields of services are youth development, individual and family wellness, community building, and crisis intervention. We counsel and provide shelter to battered spouses; find residential care and employment opportunities for mentally and physically challenged adults; feed an unemployed family; provide seniors with food and socialization; and care for children in a safe and educational environment.
