Maine Public Broadcasting Network

Maine Public Broadcasting Network (MPBN) was created in 1992 with the merger of the educational radio and television stations provided by the University of Maine System and WCBB public television. It is the home of Maine PBS and Maine Public Radio, statewide networks that reach 99% of the households in Maine, with coverage extending into Southern New Hampshire and Maritime Canada. MPBN seeks to engage the minds and enrich the lives of the people of our community. MPBN has provided public educational, literary, and cultural broadcasting for the benefit of people in the state of Maine. Our goal is to provide access for public broadcasting services to all, statewide, regardless of the ability to pay.
