Make-A-Wish Foundation International grants wishes to children around the world who are living with life-threatening illnesses. The Make-A-Wish Foundation can now be found in 30 countries and territories around the world. Make-A-Wish Foundation International’s purpose is to increase the opportunity for children of the world with life threatening illnesses to realize their wish by: establishing basic principles to ensure that the highest standards of ethics and conduct are uniformly followed and adhered to by affiliated charities who are members of the Make-A-Wish family throughout the world; encourage planned growth of the wish granting concept in receptive countries, and provide advice and consultation among its affiliates.
