Founded in 1980, Medical Ambassadors International (MAI) works to transform nations through the seamless combination of disease prevention, evangelism, and community development. MAI’s major mode of ministry is through Community Health Evangelism (CHE). This program seeks to transform individual lives physically, emotionally, socially and spiritually in local communities by meeting people at their point of need. These transformed individuals are then involved in transforming their neighbors, thereby transforming the community from the inside out. This is multiplied to other areas with the goal of assisting in the transformation of the country for Jesus Christ. A training program has been established to equip Christian organizations to establish their own integrated programs.
