Founded in 1990, MediSend International gathers surplus medical, surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic medical supplies and equipment and distributes them, free of charge, to qualified hospitals in developing countries that primarily serve the indigent population. To date, MediSend has sent more than 400 shipments of medical supplies valued at more than $10 million. Hospitals, clinics, and other medical facilities in 66 countries have benefited from these shipments.
