In 1982, Mission: Moving Mountains (M:MM) missionaries began discipling and development work in Uganda, East Africa. M:MM is a God-centered, holistic ministry that teaches preventative health care in the context of discipling others in Christ in underdeveloped third world countries in Africa. M:MM is transforming communities by discipling for development. Discipling for Development is the heartbeat of M:MM ministry where community development is carried out through the methodology of Christian discipleship. We believe that the best development happens in the context of discipling relationships and discipling is most effective when physical and spiritual issues are integrated in the context of a community.
