National Multiple Sclerosis Society, North Florida Chapter is part of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society’s fifty-state network of chapters which annually provides assistance to over a million people. The mission of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society is to end the devastating effects of multiple sclerosis (MS). Chartered in 1973, the North Florida Chapter has grown to serve approximately 18,000 people including their families, who live with MS through educational and client programs. The Chapter serves 34 counties throughout North Florida and provides the following services: information and referral; educational programs; financial emergency assistance; medical equipment loan closet; peer support and an MS center.
