National Save the Sea Turtle Foundation

The National Save The Sea Turtle Foundation was founded in 1987 for the purpose of preservation of marine life and is concentrating its efforts on endangered species, oceans and waterways. Our mission involves education, awareness, and protection. Education is the primary goal, in hopes to guarantee the children of tomorrow the benefits of our existing environment that we enjoy today because extinction is forever. In the area of awareness, keeping our issues in the public eye is most important. Our staff, members and volunteers contribute their efforts on our public awareness programs. The Foundation supports active field groups, in most cases volunteers who devote endless hours in the uphill battle to preserve the fragile ecosystem as part of its protection activities.
