The Nevada Humane Society’s mission is to promote animal welfare and to provide for the relief and prevention of all animal suffering in Nevada. We work to accomplish this through education, legislation, public relations, shelter-based activities and coordination with other humane organizations – and by providing a variety of services and programs including adoption, animal rescue, cruelty investigation, humane education and spay/neuter and vaccination clinics. The shelter we provide from hunger, homelessness, injury, neglect, abuse and just plain loneliness is truly a labor of love. Our many programs and services are designed to address the needs of all animals – and to provide support, education, and assistance for all the people that care about them.
