North Carolina Agricultural Foundation

The North Carolina Agricultural Foundation was formed in 1944 to aid and promote, by financial assistance and otherwise, all types of education and research in agriculture at or through the College of Agriculture & Life Sciences (CALS) of the North Carolina State University at Raleigh. CALS discovers, develops, teaches, and applies knowledge and technology that enable students, clientele, and citizens of North Carolina and others to improve the quality of their lives; enhances the agricultural, economic, environmental, and social well being of the state and world; and creates and extends new knowledge through scientific research and extension in agriculture and the life sciences.
