North Texas Food Bank

Established in 1982, the North Texas Food Bank (NTFB) seeks to eliminate hunger by distributing food and grocery products through a network of nonprofit organizations while providing education and increasing community awareness on issues of hunger. The NTFB procures donated surplus food and transfers it in usable quantities to over 400 nonprofit agencies in 13 North Texas counties. 28 million pounds of food/grocery products were distributed in the last fiscal year. More than 261 million pounds of food has been distributed since NTFB began operations.
