Operation Compassion mobilizes churches, individuals, and community groups to provide food and basic necessities to the poor and needy. That’s why Operation Compassion exists: to provide inspiration, information, training and resources to help you reach out to those in need in your community. Funding is used to further ministerial work and care around the world. Since its small beginning in August of 1994, Operation Compassion has grown to include a number of effective ministries to reach the poor and needy including: National Distribution Center, Disaster Relief, Appalachia, Native American Benevolence, Special Projects, and Caravan of Compassion.
