Founded in 1976, Prison Fellowship (PF) partners with local churches across the country to minister to a group that society often scorns and neglects: prisoners, ex-prisoners, and their families. The focus of our ministry includes fellowshipping with Jesus (including teaching others to live and look at life from a biblical perspective), visiting prisoners, and welcoming the children of prisoners. Our vision is that God’s kingdom will grow as those who are impacted by crime experience the redemptive grace and peace of Jesus Christ. PF works to exhort, equip, and assist the Church in its ministry to prisoners, ex-prisoners, victims, and their families, and in its promotion of biblical standards of justice in the criminal justice system.
