Project Mercy

Founded in 1977, Project Mercy is dedicated to providing aid, comfort and support to Africans in need. When it started, Project Mercy provided emergency relief and relocation assistance to African refugees. From there, Project Mercy enlarged its initial focus and, for over two decades, it has not only provided emergency relief aid, but has expanded its help to educational assistance and support for refugee evangelists. Within the last eleven years, Project Mercy’s original focus was enlarged to include community development and self-help programs for people with desperate needs in Yetebon, Ethiopia among a rural farming community of approximately 70,000.
