Ravenscroft School is an independent, co-educational college preparatory day school serving 1,097 students in preschool through grade 12. Founded in 1862 by members of Christ Episcopal Church, Ravenscroft School continued under their auspices until 1966 when it became non-sectarian. The mission of Ravenscroft School is to promote the development of the total child: academically through a balanced college preparatory program; socially through leadership opportunities, extra-curricular activities, and community service; aesthetically through a comprehensive program of fine arts; physically through complete physical education and inter-scholastic athletic programs; and spiritually through affirmation of our judeo-Christian tradition and the American ideals of freedom, democracy, and tolerance.
