Ronald McDonald House Charities of Omaha operates the Omaha Ronald McDonald House, a home-away-from-home for families of seriously ill children. Since we opened in September 1994, the Omaha Ronald McDonald House has served families from 44 states and six countries. These families come to the Omaha area for medical treatment for their children. They come to Omaha to be with their sick child, and the Ronald McDonald House provides them with a place to temporarily call home. The House is near most area hospitals and includes family rooms, a large kitchen and dining area, a recreation room, a playroom, a laundry facility, a sun porch and ample parking. Omaha Ronald McDonald House is part of a network of more than 200 Houses throughout the world.
