Seattle Aquarium Society

The Seattle Aquarium Society (SEAS) encourages child and adult engagement with the Seattle Aquarium, thereby educating the public about Puget Sound’s marine environment, the conservation challenges facing it, and science-based strategies for its preservation. The Society is the official fundraising support organization for the Seattle Aquarium. The Seattle Aquarium has been part of the Seattle waterfront and part of the experience of the northwest since 1977. Marine science education is provided by the Aquarium to over 40,000 local school children annually. The Aquarium, with 700,000 annual visitors, is the largest marine conservation education institution in the Pacific Northwest.
