Texas Public Radio (TPR) broadcasts and produces non-commercial informational, educational, cultural and entertainment radio programs for the listening audience in the Hill Country, South Central and South Texas. Incorporated in 1989, TPR operates three non-commercial radio stations: KPAC 88.3 FM, broadcasting classical music and fine arts information; KSTX 89.1 FM, the only local source of public radio’s premier news, information and entertainment programs; and KTXI 90.1 FM, simultaneously broadcasting programs in the KPAC and KSTX schedules. TPR strives to contribute to the appreciation of artistic expression, respect diverse points of view, stimulate thought, and facilitate civil and constructive discourse.
