The Community Foundation in Jacksonville was founded in 1964 and is the oldest community foundation in the State of Florida. It has assets of $102 million held in more than 280 different funds. Through our “Giving Expertise” and deep understanding of the community, we provide a bridge that connects donors and their philanthropic interests with community enterprises and resources that can benefit from philanthropic support. Through our grantmaking, we make direct philanthropic investments in organizations and activities that are vital to the well-being of Northeast Florida. We work to nurture philanthropy in our region, through educational programs, advocacy, research and outreach.
