Founded in 1988, Trailnet is an organization that promotes bicycle and pedestrian activities and collaborates with the public and private sectors to ensure and enhance a premier trail system that enriches the bi-state St. Louis region. We accomplish this through: recreational programs and events; bicycling and walking education and advocacy; and trail and roadway information and enhancement projects. We have led or partnered in development of the bi-state regional trail network including trails and trail extensions in Missouri and Illinois. Our current projects emphasize trail enhancements such as visitor facilities and public art that draw a broader audience to these community recreational facilities.
