United Way of Dane County

Founded in 1992, United Way of Dane County unites and focuses the community to create measurable results in improving people’s lives and strengthening our community. Community residents from all walks of life decide where to allocate the financial and volunteer resources that are raised. They direct support to programs that reduce and eliminate our community’s problems and prevent future needs from developing. United Way’s goals include helping children and youth, promoting independence and keeping our community a safe and healthy place to live and work. Last year, 48,741 donors and 1,199 organizations lent their support to United Way.
