For 75 years, United Way has been making a positive difference here in our Greater Portland community. United Way is committed to improving lives by mobilizing resources to create sustained change in our community. By working together and combining the support of thousands of our neighbors, we are building a stronger, safer and healthier Greater Portland. We work with more than 1,500 volunteers annually as our leaders, decision makers, committee contributors, and in the community helping others. Through our Community Care Fund, Foundation, Summer Champs program and other special initiatives, we invest over $10 million annually into the community.
