Founded in 1924, United Way of Northeast Florida works to unite people and resources in building a stronger and healthier community. United Way uses national, state, and local research to determine the most critical issues in our community and the best ways to resolve them. United Way of Northeast Florida has identified these three critical issues that deserve focused community attention and resources: early childhood successes; helping at-risk students achieve; and senior engagement and independence. We establish lasting relationships that recognize and respond to the needs of every donor; work with agencies and other partners; and distribute increasing resources to address existing and emerging health and human service needs.
