Y-ME National Breast Cancer Organization was founded in 1978 to provide peer support and fellowship to breast cancer patients. Y-ME works to ensure, through information, empowerment and peer support, that no one faces breast cancer alone. Y-ME offers support services including a hotline which is staffed by trained peer counselors who are breast cancer survivors. Hotline interpreters are available in 150 languages. Y-ME produces brochures, booklets, newsletters and videos concerning breast health and breast cancer to educate people about breast cancer.
