In the slum community of La Carpio, just a few minutes from the capitol city of San Jose, Costa Rica, we have a dental and medical clinic. La Carpio is situated on about a quarter of an acre of land between a garbage dump and a quarry, where approximately 35,000 people live. The Christ For the City International clinic focuses on giving affordable, Christian-based healthcare to extremely poor families at a fraction of the cost. The clinic is always in need of dental professionals, particularly hygienists, to come serve alongside our clinic’s medical staff in offering love and care to patients as a means to share Christ. If you are a dentist, a dental assistant, or a dental hygienist who loves the Lord, a month or two of your life can help expand the ministry capacity of the clinic to reach more Costa Ricans and many Nicaraguan refugees who desperately need help.
