If you have an adventurous spirit, enjoy ministering to children, and you’re not afraid of some hard work, then a trip to Honduras may just be the team for you!
Travel: After completing your training at The Lord’s Boot Camp, you bus to the Orlando International Airport and board a plane for a flight across the Gulf of
Mexico, Cuba and the Caribbean Sea to Panama City, Panama. A connecting flight north across Costa Rica and Nicaragua takes you to San Pedro Sula, Honduras. From the airport, you will bus two hours south to the Teen Missions in Honduras Bible, Missionary & Work (BMW) Training Center near Santa Cruz de Yojoa.
Ministry Here, you will help with a project begun by previous teams — paving the driveway up to the base. This is such a great need because in rainy season the vehicles get stuck in the mud on their way in and out of the property. Some days your team will have evangelism opportunities in nearby public and bilingual schools.
Adventure: At the end of this trip, you will enjoy shopping for hammocks, machetes, jewelry and many other souvenirs, as well as spending a fun day at the beach.
